MOAZA is thrilled and thankful to announce
The Museum of Arizona Artists (MOAZA) and the Cultural Arts Coalition (CAC) are creating a traveling exhibition, debuting in the Fall of 2026, focusing on the significance of water in life and culture at this time in Arizona’s history, exploring the perspectives of artists in urban, rural, and Indigenous communities, and bringing those perspectives through exposure to art. MOAZA is joining forces with the Cultural Arts Coalition (CAC), which will collaborate with each exhibition community to create place-specific programming, calling upon the expertise of local artists, scholars, and scientists.
MOAZA guest curator Aaron Eagles is developing a curated exhibit of art by artists from throughout the state to travel with all the iterations of the project, including institutions such as the Capitol Museum, Tubac Art Center, and the Bisbee Science Exploration & Research Center.
